Thursday 14th January 2010

I got to do some night pics tonight and was thankful for going round to my friend’s flat. Not only does she have a spacious balcony overlooking a train line that heads into King’s Cross – yes, some people might think it noisy (you don’t notice it though) but the opportunity for some interesting images – she’s also a great cook! Apart from that she gave me some good tips on night-time photography and the use of her tripod (I must get one for myself).

Without the tripod this picture would have been very blurry. With it, the train’s lights and colours remain constant. Because of the time delay, you also get to see parts of the track that are actually behind the train. Note to self: must take more photos at night. With a tripod!

Many thanks to Clare. x
